We are currently seeking a skilled Surgical Dental Assistant to contribute to our mission by providing excellent clinical support.

Responsibilities:

Preparation and Set-Up:

Set up and prepare the surgical area before the start of each procedure, ensuring all necessary equipment is ready. Maintain a sterile environment in accordance with health, safety, and infection control procedures.

Equipment Maintenance:

Clean and disinfect all equipment, instruments, and working surfaces to meet practice and manufacturer standards. Utilize equipment and machinery according to manufacturers' recommendations, ensuring regular maintenance.

Patient Care:

Prioritize the care and welfare of patients in a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner. Accurately complete electronic clinical records, demonstrating proficiency in computer skills.

Radiographic Skills:

Capture CBCT, Panorex, and Periapical x-rays as needed. Possess X-Ray Certification (Preferred).

Communication and Coordination:

Coordinate with the front office reception to ensure smooth patient communication and transfer of records. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Professional Development:

Attend and actively participate in office meetings and off-site training. Stay current with industry advancements and best practices.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (Required). Registered Dental Assistant (Preferred). Spanish Speaking (Preferred). Minimum of 2 years of experience in Surgical Dental Assisting (Required). X-Ray Certification (Required). BLS Certification (Required).

ACLS/PALS

(Preferred)

Work Environment:

Part Time/Full-time position with 8-hour shifts.

Work location:

One location. Opportunity to travel.

Compensation:

Pay:
