Dental Surgical Assistant

Dental experience/x-ray certification are preferred but we are willing to train an amazing person who is seeking a career with an outstanding practice.

Responsibilities:

Assist with surgical procedures, including IV sedation Assist with patient consults; take x-rays as needed Ensure the care and welfare of patients in a friendly, helpful and courteous manner Keep clinical areas and all equipment and instruments clean, tidy and sterile as appropriate Monitoring vitals of patient during and after sedation procedures and recovery Maintain confidential patient records accurately and timely Organizing and restocking as needed; ensure adequate stock of materials and other items during surgery

Qualifications:

Dental Assistant certification May need to work multiple locations Professional and positive attitude and desire to grow Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work with interruptions and manage multiple priorities At AZ Max, we offer a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from corrective jaw surgery to wisdom tooth removal. We can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, TMJ disorders, and perform a full range of dental implant and bone grafting procedures.
