Job Description

Central Coast Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery provides the highest-quality oral surgery care in the greater San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles areas. Our focus on exceptional patient care creates an environment which is extremely rewarding for high performing team members.
We have two office locations:
1428 Oak St, Paso Robles & 990 Boysen Ave, San Luis Obispo CCOMS does not require previous dental or medical experience. We are happy to train the right person for our team.
Hours & Locations:
  • Full time clinical team members work Monday - Friday approximately 8:00am -5:00pm with a 60-minute meal break.
  • Training requires frequent travel between our Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo location.
Routine travel between offices after training is complete will be expected.

Responsibilities and Duties:
You will be an integral part of the team with a wide range of responsibilities and opportunities for learning and growth. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include and are not limited to the following:
  • Set up and break down of surgical procedures & treatment rooms
  • Assist the doctor in surgical procedures
  • Provide pre and post operative instructions
  • Recovery and discharge of patients post-operatively
  • Cleaning, processing, and sterilizing instruments
  • Assist the doctor in monitoring patient vital signs, maintaining the patient's airway and logging medications given.
  • Taking radiographs
  • Reviewing medical histories, obtaining vital signs, and charting appointment findings
  • Coordinating patient treatment plans with administrative and treatment coordination teams
  • Coordination with comprehensive patient care team
Qualifications and Skills:
The most important requirement of this position is the ability to genuinely serve our patients on every level, including the ability to enhance patient satisfaction and increase office efficiency. You must be able to positively impact patients, coworkers, referring offices and the practice as a whole. We have found that successful candidates have the following work and educational histories:
  • Proven track record of growth
  • Experienced with customer service techniques
  • Superior communication skills
  • All clinical team members will complete an 8-hour infection control, radiation safety, BLS, PALS, and OMSA Certification within the 12-18 months of employment.
Training will be provided by
CCOMS Pay:
From $22.00 per hour
