This is a unique opportunity to join a growing, modern practice from the ground up and receive hands-on training in surgical assisting. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated, dependable Entry-Level Dental Assistant who is eager to learn and grow into a surgical assisting role. No surgical experience is required—we will train the right candidate. This position involves working in our Downtown San Diego office as well as traveling to additional locations throughout San Diego County. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-friendly, adaptable, and comfortable being present during surgical procedures. What You'll Do (Training Provided) Assist chairside during dental and surgical procedures (training provided) Learn to support implant and advanced surgical cases over time Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and sterilization processes Support digital workflows (scanning, imaging, and case organization) Help with basic 3D printing tasks and lab organization (training provided) Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory of supplies (including travel kits) Assist with patient preparation, comfort, and post-op instructions Travel between office locations as needed What We're Looking For Positive attitude and strong willingness to learn Comfortable being around surgical procedures (no experience required) Reliable, punctual, and organized Good communication and teamwork skills Basic computer skills and willingness to learn digital systems Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally Experience Dental assisting experience is a plus, but not required No surgical experience necessary — full training will be provided
Compensation & Schedule Pay:
$18-$21 per hour
Bonus Opportunities:
Performance-based bonuses with potential total earnings of $25-$26 per hour
Hours:
