Gurries, DDS, Inc San Francisco, CA Job Details Full-time $30 - $42 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off 401(k) matching Employee discount Retirement plan Qualifications High school diploma or GED Registered Dental Assistant Certified Dental Assistant Full Job Description Assisting in oral surgery procedures: tooth extractions, dental implants, IV sedation. Setup and breakdown of surgical trays and rooms, sterile processing of instruments, recovery of patients from surgery and sedations, monitoring patients during surgery and sedation. Keeping stock of supply and implant inventory and ordering replacements, maintaining drug and emergency logs. May also include occasional coordinating care of surgical patients. This includes scheduling patients, coordinating with referrals, obtaining appropriate paperwork from the patient, corresponding with the insurance coordinator to present fees and treatment plans to patients, being available to patients and referrals to answer questions about care pre and post-operatively. Ability to work at the front desk and run insurance estimates at times.
