QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma. Certificate from an accredited Surgical Technologist Program or Medical Assistant Program Current CPR certification
SCHEDULE
Per diem position , schedule varies depending on the needs of the Center. Schedule may likely be as follows: Tuesdays 8am-4:30pm Wednesdays some half days 8am-12:30pm, some full days 8am-4:30pm Thursdays some half days 8am-1230pm, some full days 8am-4:30pm Approximately 16-24 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in operating room. Maintain inventory levels of medical supplies. Responsible for infectious waste disposal. Maintain clean and sterile instruments. Maintain clean and sterile operating room. Monitor all operating room equipment for maintenance. Assist in the development of the Center's Quality Management & Professional Improvement Program. Actively participates in the ongoing Quality Management & Professional Improvement Program as required. Promote good public relations with patient families and visitors. Participate in Center's in-services relative to position and to maintain professional competency. Adhere to Center's policies. Attend 80% of the Center's meetings. Exhibit a willingness to serve on a committee. Perform other assigned work as required. All staff, including supervisors and managers, are responsible for: A. Protecting the Center's hardware, software, information, and data by complying with its security/privacy policies and procedures and correctly using security technologies. B. Attending required security/privacy training. C. Using computer terminals and workstations in a manner that protects the security of information they access. D. Reporting all security/privacy breaches to their supervisors, or to the Privacy Officer when their supervisors are unavailable. E. Maintaining the confidentiality of their password.
