Job Description:
Dental Assistant / Oral Surgery (Central Florida) Dental Assistant position for Oral Surgery practice. The person for this position is one who wants to be a part of a valuable team! We are interviewing for an applicant who is self-starting, extremely detailed, organized, and likes a personal challenge. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required. If you want to expand your knowledge and are a confidant dedicated dental assistant this could be the position for you. We ask for commitment to excellent patient care and knowledge of dental/medical terminology. 1 year experience required. Duties include but not limited to: chairside assisting, sterilization, monitoring patients vital signs, triage phone calls, post-op instructions, turn over & set up surgery rooms, stocking supplies, digital x-rays, charting in electronic records. Applicant must be able to start at 7:30 am and be flexible with their working hours. We often have a shortened lunch and some days do not leave on time. Our days are dictated by our patient's needs. Average 34-37 hours a week with benefits. Work locations are Orlando and Longwood.

Qualifications:
At least one year Oral Surgery experience (preferred) Superior working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Good manual dexterity Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs Document care by charting in an electronic medical record.
