Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic dental team as an Experienced Surgical Dental Assistant, where your expertise will directly enhance patient care and surgical procedures. This vital role involves supporting complex dental implant surgeries, ensuring a sterile environment, and delivering exceptional chairside assistance. Duties Assist during surgical procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and the surgical site with precision and aseptic technique Manage patient comfort by monitoring vital signs and providing pre- and post-operative care instructions Operate dental imaging equipment, including CBCT x-ray machines and 3D scanners, to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Maintain detailed medical documentation, including medical records, dental terminology, and procedural notes. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to uphold safety standards across all procedures Support implant dentistry with expert chairside assistance Collaborate seamlessly with the dental team, including dentist and reception staff, to optimize patient flow and clinic efficiency Qualifications Proven experience as a Surgical Dental Assistant with a strong background in dental assisting within a clinical setting CPR and Florida dental radiology license required Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times Skilled in X-ray operation, 3-D imaging, vital signs monitoring, and maintaining aseptic technique during procedures Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and dental coding standards Certification in dental assisting or related fields preferred; ongoing education in advanced surgical techniques is a plus Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a meaningful difference! Pay:
$21.58 - $30.80 per hour
