HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Job Summary:
Senior-level operational leader responsible for optimizing patient flow, surgical throughput, and operational efficiency across Surgical Services (multiple departments). Demonstrates an understanding of diversity. Demonstrates integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence (I CARE values). Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients. Directly oversees non-clinical teams critical to surgical access and efficiency. Leads initiatives to improve case flow, throughput, on-time starts, and turnover efficiency. Acts as a primary operational contact for surgeons regarding access, throughput, and efficiency concerns. Focuses on process improvement, data-driven decision making, surgeon experience, and patient access. Develops and presents operational performance data related to throughput, utilization, efficiency, and access. Works in close partnership with clinical leaders, surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative leaders. Performs miscellaneous duties and fulfills other responsibilities not expressly described herein.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, operations, or a related field
Preferred Education:
Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA), or Master of Public Health (MPH) degree or a master's degree in a related field.
Required Experience:
Five (5) years of progressive healthcare or surgical services operations experience
Preferred Experience:
Five (5) years in perioperative or surgical services operations experience. Experience leading teams and driving operational improvement. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and/or performance improvement methodologies. Lean and/or Six Sigma certification(s). Advanced proficiency in data analysis and dashboard development. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
