Our office values professionalism, efficiency, and compassionate patient care. Our well-established periodontal and implant practice is seeking an experienced Surgical Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. This role is ideal for a confident, efficient assistant who thrives in a surgical environment, understands sterile protocol, and values precision and patient comfort. Key Responsibilities
  • Chairside assisting for advanced periodontal and implant surgeries
  • Set up and maintain sterile surgical fields
  • Anticipate provider needs during procedures
  • Manage surgical instruments, sutures, implants, and grafting materials
  • Monitor patient comfort and assist with anxiety management
  • Take high-quality digital radiographs and intraoral images
  • Deliver clear pre- and post-operative instructions
  • Accurate clinical documentation and charting
  • Maintain
OSHA/CDC
infection control standards
  • Support smooth operatory flow and on-time surgical schedule Required Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 2 years dental assisting experience
  • Surgical assisting experience strongly preferred (perio, implants, oral surgery)
  • Radiology certification required
  • Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical protocols
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical setting
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Professional, calm, and patient-focused demeanor
