Job Description

The Surgical Coordinator is committed to guiding the patient through the surgical process in a friendly and professional manner. They support the patient throughout the surgical process, from education, scheduling surgical and pre/post-operative visits, and assisting the patients while preparing for surgical treatments. Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintain surgical schedules for surgeons
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all surgery procedures
  • Communicates with patients
  • Arranges for testing and takes measurements
  • Schedules pre & post op visits
  • Collects all payments due to include, copays, coinsurance, deductibles and upgrade options
  • Prepare charts for surgeons
  • Send Orders for all medications
