Job Description:

Positions patients for optimal surgical exposure while ensuring comfort and safety. Pads pressure points and guards against nerve damage to prevent injury. Collaborates with anesthesia personnel to maintain the patient's temperature within the desired range. Utilizes equipment necessary for common surgical positions, including fracture tables, head and body stabilizers, and C-arm extensions. Evaluates patients post-procedure for any positioning-related damage and reports abnormalities to the surgeon. $10,000 Sign On Bonus for eligible applicants. Relocation Bonus for eligible applicants.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of Anatomy
• Assist the surgeon in the Surgical Procedures
• Prepares and maintains surgical area
• Performs technical responsibilities for optimal patient care
• Serves as a resource person

Education:

• Associate [Preferred]
• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• Technical/Vocational School [Preferred]

Field of Study:

• 2+ years of experience as first assistant [Preferred]
