RESPONSIBILITES
Establishes and monitors systems for inventorying and ordering prostheses, implantable devices and other specialty supplies used in surgery and other procedural units. Responsible for coordinating supply processes for all units within Perioperative Services, procedural imaging and other units. Coordinates ordering, maintenance, and repair of operating room and other procedural equipment to ensure equipment is available and functioning properly during surgical, imaging and other procedures. Coordinates repairs with Medical Engineering and Facilities Management. Coordinates loaning or borrowing of equipment and supplies for surgical procedures. Coordinates with Environmental Services to ensure a clean working environment in the Operating Room and supply areas.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma or equivalent. Two years of experience in hospital materials management or working with operating room supplies. Experience using personal computers.
