Job Description

Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic surgical environment supporting healthcare teams with your operating room expertise. This opportunity is for certified Surgical Technologists (ORT) ready to excel in a specialized setting. Your experience and skill will play a crucial role in patient care throughout surgical procedures.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time, contracted basis Rotating or set shifts based on facility needs
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) Prior operating room experience required, with strong skills in instrument handling, aseptic technique, and surgical procedures Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Demonstrated ability to react quickly and adapt in a fast-paced surgical environment Strong communication skills and commitment to teamwork
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare sterile fields and ensure proper surgical instrumentation is available for each procedure Assist surgeons and nurses during operations by managing instruments, equipment, and supplies Adhere to strict infection control protocols to maintain patient safety at all times Collaborate with surgical staff to anticipate the needs of the surgical team Support postoperative clean-up and equipment sterilization, ensuring the suite is ready for subsequent procedures
