Oral Surgery Assistant/EFDA

Starting pay: $22+ an hour based on experience and skill level. This position is appropriate for an experienced Oral Surgery Assistant/Surgical Assistant with some dental knowledge. Assistants are a key role that comes with a high level of responsibility in a variety of areas. This role includes but is not limited to the following duties and responsibilities: Learn and operate practice software

• DSN Take X-Rays Take patients vitals Count teeth Set up surgical instruments Assist in surgical procedures Assist with IV sedation Assist patients with wheelchair after surgery Wipe down and make sure rooms are clean Scrub, clean, and put away surgical instruments Do laundry for surgical gowns and caps Assist in maintaining supplies Continually learn, observe, and follow direction in order to develop further as a surgical assistant
