  • Part-time Honolulu, HI Founded in 1921, Straub Benioff Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i.
With over 200 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides its patients with diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology. Straub is home to the Pacific Region's only multidisciplinary burn treatment center. The hospital consistently brings new technologies and innovative medical practices to Hawai'i, such as minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement. The Orthopedics department is trained to handle the most common of injuries, from sprains, broken bones and sports injuries, to specialized conditions such as arthritis and congenital disorders. Our multi-disciplinary team includes fellowship-trained orthopedic physicians, rheumatologists, physical therapists, nurses and other health care providers that specialize in treating a wide range of injuries in children and adults. You could gain valuable first-hand clinical operations and health care experience as a Clinic Aide. In this role you would serve as a nursing assistant who performs routine tasks ranging from monitoring supplies to administering health care to patients of all ages to supporting departmental staff. We are looking for someone diligent and motivated, who enjoys learning in a fast-paced clinical environment and shares our commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai'i's people.

Medical Support Staff Minimum Qualifications:
Nurse aide or medical assistant certificate showing successful completion of courses for a nurse assistant or medical assistant training program; completion of a fundamentals course from an accredited school of Nursing (name of nursing school and completion of fundamentals course); Military Corpsman certificate; EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) or MICT (Mobile Intensive Care Technician) certificate; A Registered Nurse/Medical Doctor license or graduate certificate from a college in a foreign country. Current American Heart Association Heart Saver
  • AED CPR card.
And Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
Preferred Qualifications:
