  • Surgical Aide - Endoscopy
  • What You Will Do:
  • + Provide safe, quality patient care and support under the supervision of a registered nurse or designated healthcare professional + Function in an entry-level, unlicensed assistive role, supporting nurses and the surgical team throughout the patient experience + Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as delegated by nursing staff + Participate in continuous safety monitoring, rounding, and patient observation + Support patient flow and unit operations, including answering call lights, patient greeting and encouragement, and transport + Assist with room turnover, stocking and retrieving supplies and equipment + Help mobilize and reposition patients to promote comfort and safety + Support discharge preparation and coordination + Demonstrate compassion, patience, and teamwork as an essential member of the Same Day Surgery care team •
Schedule:
  • + Monday - Friday + 8 hour shifts + Start and end times depend on department's scheduled procedures + Start times between 6 am and 8 am + End times between 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm + Later starts on Thursdays + No call + No weekends
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • + Currently enrolled in high school, in process of completing a GED, or has obtained high school diploma or GED + Meets requirements for applicable state(s) of engagement. + Valid driver's license where required by assignment. + Previous medical experience preferred
