Alpine Surgical Arts Location:
Boise & Meridian, Idaho Learn more about us: www.alpinesa.com Alpine Surgical Arts, a premier Oral, Maxillofacial, and Facial Cosmetic Surgery practice, is hiring a Full Time Surgical Assistant to join our Boise team. We are looking for a dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented individual who is excited to work hands-on in a surgical environment. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, brings a positive attitude to patient care, and thrives in a fast-paced setting under the direct supervision of our highly skilled surgeons. Key Responsibilities Assist three surgeons during a wide range of surgical procedures Welcome and prepare patients, review medical histories, and obtain vitals Set up the surgical suite, ensuring all instruments, supplies, and equipment are sterile and ready for use Transport and position patients safely in preparation for surgery Prepare and label lab specimens accurately Perform set up and breakdown of the surgical area before and after procedures Provide clear, compassionate pre and post-operative instructions to patients Follow best practices in sterilization and infection control Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and uphold patient confidentiality Support the surgical team with related tasks as needed Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and quality standards
What We're Looking For Education :
Completion of a Surgical Technology, Medical Assisting, or Dental Assisting program
Experience :
Minimum 2 years of hands-on surgical assisting required Oral, facial, or cosmetic surgery experience strongly preferred Professional, team-oriented demeanor with strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient care Schedule Monday through Friday (hours may vary based on clinic and surgical schedules)
