Summary The Outpatient Surgery Aid e plays a key support role in the daily operations of our surgical services department. This position assists nursing and surgical staff by preparing rooms, transporting patients, maintaining supplies, and ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient environment for patient care. Key Responsibilities Assist with preparing and turning over operating and procedure rooms Transport patients safely to and from the surgery department Stock and maintain surgical supplies, equipment, and linen Assist nursing staff with non-clinical patient care needs Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas according to infection control standards Support patient comfort and safety throughout their surgical visit Follow all hospital policies related to safety, confidentiality, and compliance Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Healthcare experience preferred, but not required Ability to lift, push, or pull patients and equipment safely Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions Dependable, team-oriented, and patient-focused attitude BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
