Required Skills:
Valid CVOR certification in Surgical First Assistance Minimum of 1 year of recent surgical experience Proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting procedures Strong understanding of surgical protocols and patient safety Excellent teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills Ability to adhere to strict call and weekend schedules Nice to
Have Skills:
Experience with other surgical assistance certifications (BLS, ABSA, NBSTSA, NCCT) Prior experience in cardiothoracic or vascular surgery Familiarity with hospital electronic medical records systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
Surgical Technologist certification or higher At least 1 year of surgical assisting experience in a fast-paced hospital environment Previous call and weekend duty experience
Other Requirements:
Valid BLS certification required Certifications such as ABSA, NBSTSA, or NCCT essential Availability to start on 06/02/2026 Willingness to participate in weekend and call schedules as defined
Compensation:
$80.40 per hour
Shift:
