If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment, enjoy hands‑on work, and love being a critical part of delivering excellent patient care, this role is for you. As a Scrub Tech, you'll help maintain a sterile environment in the operating room, support surgeons and nurses during procedures, and play an essential role in ensuring safe and successful surgical outcomes. Responsibilities Maintain a sterile field and uphold all principles of aseptic technique Assist the surgical team by passing instruments, supplies, sutures, and equipment Prepare equipment, instruments, and operating rooms before procedures Assist with scrubbing, gowning, and gloving for the surgical team Prepare dressings and assist with postoperative bandage application Operate, adjust, and monitor surgical and sterile processing equipment Position and prepare patients for surgery while ensuring safety and comfort Participate in instrument, sponge, and sharps counts Clean and restock the operating room following procedures Support compliance with accreditation and departmental standards Maintain confidentiality of patient and center information Assist with supply and equipment maintenance Document accurately and in a timely manner Respond quickly to changing patient or surgical needs Perform additional duties as assigned Skills and Abilities Ability to perform under pressure in a fast‑paced surgical environment Ability to recognize and respond to equipment alarms Strong listening and communication skills Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Word) Problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical procedures Visual acuity for detailed work and the ability to distinguish color Logical reasoning and sound judgment skills Qualifications Completion of a post‑high school Surgical Technology program CST or CORT certification preferred One year of experience in a surgical setting Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred Join Our Team If you're passionate about surgical care, enjoy working in a high‑energy team environment, and want to make a meaningful impact every day, we'd love to meet you.
