EXPERIENCED ORAL SURGERY ASSISTANT

Plaza Facial Surgery - Kansas City, MO Full-Time | Competitive Pay | Specialty Surgical Practice Plaza Facial Surgery is seeking a highly skilled, experienced Dental or Oral Surgery Assistant to join our fast-paced, specialty surgical team. We are not hiring entry-level candidates at this time. Applicants must have prior dental assisting or oral surgery experience. What Makes This Different? We are a specialty oral & facial surgery practice — not general dentistry. Our assistants work alongside surgeons performing: Surgical extractions Dental implants IV sedation & deep sedation Bone grafting Full-arch procedures Complex surgical cases This is a true surgical environment that requires confidence, efficiency, and clinical awareness. Required Qualifications Minimum 1-2 years dental assisting experience (oral surgery experience strongly preferred) X-ray certification (required) Experience assisting with surgical procedures Strong understanding of sterile technique Ability to work efficiently in a high-level surgical setting Professional appearance and communication skills Reliable and punctual Sedation experience is a major plus. Responsibilities Assist surgeons chairside during surgical procedures Prepare and break down surgical rooms Monitor patients during treatment Maintain strict sterilization standards Take digital radiographs & CBCT scans Provide post-op instructions Support concierge-style patient care Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Paid holidays PTO Stable full-time schedule Positive, professional team environment About Us Plaza Facial Surgery is a respected oral & facial surgery practice serving the Kansas City community.
