Oral Surgery Assistant

Summary:

Seeking to hire a highly motivated assistant for our privately owned oral surgery office. Our primary focus is delivering high quality patient care in a compassionate environment. The right candidate will possess strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast paced atmosphere. Our goal is to add another positive, reliable, career oriented individual to our already amazing team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Chairside assisting of the oral and maxillofacial surgeons Preparing clinical rooms and patients for surgical procedures Disinfecting and sanitizing operatories and equipment Sterilizing instruments and surgical handpieces Obtaining digital dental radiographs Reviewing and clarifying post-operative instructions with patients Managing inventory of medical equipment and supplies Monitoring patients under IV sedation or general anesthesia Collecting and maintaining patient information and medical records, complying with HIPAA guidelines Adhering to OSHA standards when handling and disposing of hazardous materials
