Job Description

Description Foothills Oral Surgery is looking for an energetic surgical assistant to be a vital part of our oral and maxillofacial surgical team. Qualified candidates should have current CPR certification, x-ray certification and be competent with taking intra-oral scans. Certified Dental Assistant or DAANCE Certification and IV Certification a plus.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking an exceptional candidate who is able to adapt and handle multiple task within a fast paced work environment. Someone who provides personalized care and exceptional customer service to our patients, referring offices, and team members. Must be highly motivated and a "team player". Set up for sterile procedures, assist surgeon during procedures including suctioning, passing instruments, providing airway support, monitoring of vitals. Understanding of EMR entries, paperwork, etc. Ability to take radiographs and CBCT scans. Explain post op instructions to patients. Hourly wages commensurate with education and experience.
Experience:
Dental/Oral Surgery Assisting:
Phlebotomy certified, a plus
