Job Description
We are looking for strong surgical assistants to complete our team. Mohs experience is A Plus! General Description- Perform a variety of specialized skills related to Mohs surgery: -Prepare and set up medical supplies and equipment for surgery. Preform patient intake, prep patient for surgery and repairs, assisting the surgeon in a unique, hands on approach. You will be responsible for your patient from start to finish. Sending orders or labs. EMR entry, lab requisitions, charting accuracy. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge any surgical procedures or Dermatology and clinical flow, is a plus! Medical office setting. Patient care experience. Knowledge of basic medical terminology. Able to perform medical equipment clean up and preparation to expedite clinic flow. Education Requirements/Preferences LPN, RMA, CMA, Surgical Tech- Requires completion of a technical school program. Experience Requirements/Preferences Generally, requires two years of experience in health care specialties related to the specific position; two years related experience may be substituted for the technical school, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience -Four 10hr shifts with one rotating day off each week!
