We are looking for a motivated, patient-focused professional with a strong background in dental implant surgery who takes pride in delivering exceptional clinical care and creating an outstanding patient experience. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled oral surgeon in a modern, technology-driven practice dedicated to excellence in implant dentistry and oral surgery. Required Experience Applicants must have prior dental implant surgical assisting experience. Qualified candidates should have experience assisting with:
  • Dental implant placement procedures
  • Bone grafting and ridge preservation
  • Surgical extractions
  • Full-arch implant procedures (All-on-X experience preferred)
  • Surgical setup, sterilization, and infection control protocols Responsibilities
  • Assist the oral surgeon during implant and oral surgery procedures
  • Prepare surgical suites, instruments, and implant components
  • Maintain sterile fields and ensure compliance with OSHA and infection control standards
  • Monitor and support patients throughout surgical appointments
  • Take radiographs and CBCT scans as permitted by state regulations
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient education
  • Manage surgical inventory and implant supplies
  • Accurately document treatment and patient information in the electronic health record
  • Report directly to the clinical manager for clinic related needs Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of oral surgery or implant surgical assisting experience
  • Current ACLS and CPR/BLS certification
  • Dental Assisting certification as required by North Carolina
  • Strong knowledge of implant workflows and surgical instrumentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude Preferred Qualifications
  • DA II certification
  • Experience with guided implant surgery
  • Familiarity with Straumann or similar implant systems
  • Experience using CBCT and digital treatment planning technologies Benefits
