We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Surgical Dental Assistant to join our growing team.   • Key Responsibilities:
  • Surgical Assistance:
  • Assist the dentist during oral surgical procedures, including dental implants, extractions, bone grafts, and other complex oral surgeries.
  • Prepare the surgical suite, ensuring all instruments are sterile and organized.
  • Provide chairside assistance during procedures, including suctioning, instrument passing, and maintaining a clear working area.
  • Assist with post-surgical care instructions for patients.
  • Implantology Support:
  • Assist with the planning, placement, and post-operative care of dental implants.
  • Ensure proper sterilization of implant tools and equipment.
  • Work closely with the dentist to ensure optimal outcomes for patients undergoing implant surgery.
  • Technology:
  • Operate and assist with digital scanning equipment and 3D printers for dental implant planning and prosthetic fabrication.
  • Help take digital impressions, 3D scans, and use software to aid in the placement and restoration of implants.
  • Prepare and maintain all equipment related to 3D printing of surgical guides, prosthetics, and implant components.
  • Patient Care:
  • Provide pre
  • and post-operative patient education and ensure patients are comfortable and informed.
  • Monitor patient's vital signs and comfort during procedures.
  • Assist in the creation of customized care plans and follow-up procedures to ensure optimal healing and implant success.
  • Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Dental Assistant, with a strong focus on dental surgery and dental implants.
  • Experience with dental 3D scanning and printing technology preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of oral surgery procedures and implantology.
  • Certification in Dental Assisting (e.g., CDA, RDA) and/or other relevant credentials.
  • Proficiency in sterilization protocols and infection control procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex procedures to patients.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced surgical environment.
