Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required Experience in operating room techniques and protocols Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and operating room safety Ability to work collaboratively with perioperative teams Current BLS certification Adaptable, detail-oriented, and dependable
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms by setting up necessary instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures, ensuring a safe and sterile environment Handle surgical instruments and materials efficiently Maintain accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments Uphold strict adherence to infection control and safety guidelines Support the surgical team with room turnovers and documentation
