Lead Oral Surgery assistant 2 days a week

Part-Time Oral Surgery Assistant - Austin Area We are seeking an experienced and motivated Part-Time Oral Surgery Assistant to join our growing specialty practice in the Austin area. This position is ideal for a skilled assistant who is confident in a fast-paced surgical environment and experienced with IV sedation and true oral surgery procedures. Schedule Every Thursday required Rotating Wednesdays and Fridays Part-time position Responsibilities Assist the Oral Surgeon during surgical procedures Monitor and assist with IV sedation cases Prepare and break down surgical rooms Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA compliance Provide excellent pre-op and post-op patient care Take radiographs and assist with patient documentation Ensure a smooth and efficient surgical workflow Requirements Previous Oral Surgery experience required IV sedation experience required Experience with extractions, implants, bone grafting, and full surgical procedures required Current RDA certification preferred CPR/BLS certification required Strong patient care and communication skills Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the Austin area Professional, dependable, and team-oriented Preferred Qualifications Experience with digital imaging and charting software Ability to multitask in a high-volume surgical environment Strong attention to detail and organization Compensation Competitive pay based on experience Supportive and professional team environment Opportunity to grow within a specialty practice
