The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of our dental clinic while providing exceptional patient care. The Dental Assistant will assist the dentist during procedures, assist in monitoring sedations, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Duties Assist the dentist during oral surgery procedures, monitor sedations, airway management, emergency management. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available. Knowledge of sedation monitoring. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform medical coding for insurance purposes to ensure proper billing. Educate patients on post-operative care. Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the clinic. Keep the dental clinic clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations. Skills Strong knowledge of oral surgery procedures and sedation experience Basic understanding of medicine. Ability to accurately record vital signs and maintain patient confidentiality. Proficient in managing medical records with attention to detail. Knowledge of medical coding practices for effective billing processes. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy is upheld. Familiarity with medical terminology. Excellent assisting skills with a focus on teamwork and communication within the dental team.
