This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with extensive plastic surgery experience who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care and supporting surgeons in complex cosmetic procedures. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment and have hands-on experience assisting throughout all stages of cosmetic surgery procedures. Key Responsibilities Serve as the Surgical First Assistant during plastic and cosmetic surgery procedures Assist surgeons with tissue handling, exposure, retraction, hemostasis, drain placement, and wound closure Prepare the operating room and surgical instruments Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout procedures Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia providers, and operating room staff Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient care as needed Ensure efficient surgical workflow and operating room readiness Required Experience ✔ Minimum 3 years of experience in Plastic Surgery as a Surgical First Assistant ✔ Extensive experience assisting with: Liposuction Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) Breast Augmentation Breast Lift (Mastopexy) Body Contouring Procedures ✔ Experience closing abdominoplasties and other cosmetic surgery procedures ✔ Ability to function independently as a First Assistant in cosmetic surgery cases ✔ Strong knowledge of cosmetic surgery instrumentation, surgical techniques, and operating room workflow Required Certifications CSFA, CSA, RNFA, SA-C, or equivalent Surgical First Assistant credential preferred
