Surgical Services Clerk | Full Time Clerical Support / Administrative Surgery
DESCRIPTION

Shift Information:
This position is full time working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Enters case supply charges as needed, collaborates with other departments (PACU,CCIR,MM,etc.) as necessary to accomplish fiscal responsibilities. Provides professional, administrative support to the Surgical Services leadership and participates in assisting with setting up appointments/calendar management.
Required Education:
High School diploma or
GED Preferred Education:
Previous scheduling experience or CST.
Required Skills:
Basic computer skills, keyboard skills, faxing, scanning, email, excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail oriented/well-organized, ability to handle confidential information appropriately..
Preferred Skills:
Meditech knowledge, previous scheduling experience, and experience with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint", strong phone and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Licensure/Registration/Certification:
Certified Surgical Technician Required Experience:
Previous experience in an office setting, understanding basic medical terminology
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in the Operating Room
