Job DescriptionAt Cassity & Legacy Implants and Periodontics, our team of experts offer a truly unique and one of a kind experience to each and every patient. The team of doctors have limited their practice in each of the disciplines of their specialty to bring our patients a highly specialized approach to their needs. With our team of highly specialized experts, we possess the ability to treat all aspects of periodontics and implant dentistry comprehensively; yet allowing each doctor the ability to apply their area of specialization, to give our patients the most timely and best care possible.

Surgical Assistants are an integral member of our team and help foster our clinically led culture. From being the doctor's right hand, to having the ability to connect with patients, and striving to provide the best patient experience, Surgical Assistants are a key contributor to the success of our practice.

Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortableSet up and breakdown operatory post treatmentTake dental radiographs (x-rays)Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipmentProvide patients with follow-up instructions following all dental treatment proceduresEducate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral healthQualificationsDental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specifyX-ray certification where state regulations specify

Requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours a day. Will be required to carry, transport, and use tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
