Our well-established, highly respected periodontal practice is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Surgical Dental Assistant to join our team and play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care. We are a fast-paced, patient-focused practice known for clinical excellence, strong systems, and a supportive, team-oriented environment.
What You'll Do:
Assist the periodontist during advanced surgical procedures with efficiency and attention to detail Prepare and maintain surgical operatories, ensuring all instruments and materials are properly sterilized and organized Maintain a sterile field and uphold strict infection control protocols Support patient care before, during, and after procedures, ensuring comfort and safety Take radiographs and assist with CBCT imaging and intraoral scanning Accurately document patient records, medical histories, and treatment notes Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless and high-quality patient experience Utilize modern dental technology and practice management software
What We're Looking For:
Self-motivated, organized, and dependable Positive attitude with a strong "can-do" mindset Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and patient care skills Comfortable with surgical assisting (periodontal/implant experience preferred) X-ray certified (preferred) Ability to quickly adapt to new technology and systems No extensive periodontal experience?
