As Virginia's largest orthopedic specialty practice, we're seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Manager to lead our perioperative services team in delivering safe, efficient, and exceptional surgical care. Lead & Develop High Performing Teams Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Registered Nurses, Surgical Technologists, Sterile Processing, Materials Management, and perioperative support staff. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, engagement, and continuous learning. Recruit, onboard, evaluate, and develop team members while supporting ongoing professional growth. Provide staffing support as needed based on licensure and operational requirements. Oversee Perioperative Operations Direct the daily operations of the operating room and perioperative services. Manage surgical schedules to maximize efficiency while maintaining exceptional patient care. Coordinate staffing, equipment, instrumentation, implants, and supplies to ensure surgical readiness. Partner with Sterile Processing and Materials Management to support efficient case flow and on-time starts. Monitor daily operations and proactively resolve scheduling or workflow challenges. Drive Clinical Quality & Patient Safety Ensure the delivery of safe, patient

Maintain compliance with AORN standards, AAAHC accreditation requirements, OSHA regulations, and organizational policies. Promote evidence-based practice and support continuous quality improvement initiatives. Serve as a patient advocate while ensuring privacy, safety, and regulatory compliance. Collaborate Across the Organization Serve as the primary liaison between physicians, hospital leadership, and perioperative teams. Build strong relationships across clinical and operational departments to improve communication and patient outcomes. Lead change initiatives that enhance workflow, efficiency, and overall surgical experience. Experience Minimum of five years of leadership or supervisory experience in a perioperative or surgical services environment. Minimum of two years of operating room or perioperative clinical experience. Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in an orthopedic, ambulatory surgery center (ASC), or hospital setting preferred. Knowledge of AORN, AAAHC, CMS, and other applicable regulatory standards preferred. Experience driving quality improvement and operational excellence initiatives preferred. Licensure & Certifications Current licensure or certification as a Registered Nurse (RN), Surgical Technologist (ST), or Surgical Assistant (SA). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required for RN candidates. CNOR or other perioperative specialty certification preferred. INDOP1 Compensation Range for this position: $110,400.00
