Job Description

Sentara is hiring a Surgical Assistant II at Sentara Virginia Beach General, in Virginia Beach Virginia.
Shift:
Full Time, rotating shift Generally schedule would be 7a-3p, 7a-5p, or 7a-7p or a combination for 40h Rotating shifts May be scheduled 11A-7P, 3-11P, OR 11A-11P for all or part of a schedule. Overview The Surgical Assistant II works as a 1st or 2nd assistant to the surgeon and under the direction/supervision of that surgeon and in accordance with hospital policy and appropriate laws and regulations. The Surgical Assistant works as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team, collaborating with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. Certification/Licensure Virginia Surgical Assistant License
REQUIRED
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
REQUIRED
Experience 3 years SA experience
REQUIRED KEYWORDS
