JOB DESCRIPTION
The Surgical COA is responsible for performing multiple duties within the clinical setting all intended to facilitate the smooth operation of a medical office and related surgicalprocedural activities. Duties include coordinating patient appointments, surgeries andor other procedures, and ancillary testing, providing academic support andor transcription support, and acting as an interface between surgeons and patients.EDUCATION
H.S. Diploma with or equivalent college coursework in the secretarial or medical sciences preferred.EXPERIENCE
Must have 2+ years experience in a clerical setting, preferably in a medical environment.Demonstrated customer service experience. The University of Vermont Health Network is an Equal Opportunity Employer. and
