Experienced Surgical Dental Assistant (RDA) Izoh Ashour perio Kirkland, WA Job Details Full-time $30 - $40 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications Registered Dental Assistant Dental x-ray Patient interaction Radiology Certification Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Surgical Dental Assistant to join our growing surgical team. This position involves assisting a board-certified periodontist and implant surgeon during a variety of advanced surgical procedures across multiple dental offices in the Seattle area. The ideal candidate is confident in a surgical environment, organized, adaptable, and passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. Experience with implant dentistry, periodontal surgery, bone grafting, extractions, and digital workflows is highly preferred. Responsibilities Assist the surgeon during implant placement, bone grafting, periodontal surgery, extractions, and other surgical procedures Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields and instrumentation Monitor patient comfort and assist with surgical workflow throughout procedures Take diagnostic radiographs and CBCT scans as needed Perform digital intraoral scanning (iTero preferred) Prepare surgical setups and break down operatories following procedures Maintain strict infection control and sterilization standards Review medical histories and assist with treatment documentation Educate patients regarding post-operative instructions and treatment expectations Coordinate patient flow and support efficient surgical scheduling Travel between participating offices as needed Qualifications Active Washington State Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential Current CPR/BLS certification Active Dental Radiology certification Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience Surgical dental assisting experience preferred Experience with implants, grafting procedures, and surgical workflows strongly preferred Familiarity with Denticon and iTero is a plus Excellent communication and patient care skills Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between offices Compensation & Benefits $30-$40 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Benefits will also be discussed and tailored based on candidate qualifications Full-time position Opportunities for professional growth and advanced surgical training Work alongside an experienced periodontist and implant surgeon utilizing modern digital technology Join a team dedicated to excellence in implant and periodontal care while helping patients regain health, function, and confidence.
