Job Description

We are seeking an upbeat, self-motivated Surgical Assistant to join our team and provide support to our surgeons and medical staff in our Pullman location. Must have an excellent work ethic, be dependable, patient-focused, and capable of working under pressure. Some dental experience is very beneficial but we are willing to train the right candidate. This is a part-time position
  • default work schedule is three days per week (Mon, Thur, Fri, hours approx 8am-5pm) but can vary.
Willingness to travel required for occasional work and meetings in our Lewiston office.
Duties:
  • Assist surgeons during surgical procedures
  • Prepare operating rooms for surgery
  • Maintain a sterile environment during surgery
  • Monitor patient vital signs during surgery
  • Document surgical procedures and patient information in medical records
  • Assist with patient assessments before and after surgery
  • Collaborate with other medical staff to ensure quality patient care
Skills:
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
