Food Provided Key Responsibilities:
Patient-Centered Care:
Welcome and assist patients, ensuring their comfort and providing procedural information. Update and review patient medical history, allergies, and medications for safety. Monitor vital signs and communicate them to the surgeon pre-surgery. Explain treatment options, review plans, and obtain patient consent. Provide post-operative instructions, address questions, and alleviate concerns.
Surgical Support:
Assist the surgeon during procedures, prioritizing patient comfort and safety. Ensure proper patient monitoring before sedation, recording vital signs throughout. Maintain accurate surgical notes and anesthesia forms. Sterilize and prepare surgical instruments and equipment. Thoroughly clean and disinfect the surgical suite, ready for the next patient. Strictly adhere to infection control protocols for patient safety.
Administrative Duties:
Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring well-stocked rooms. Follow established room and equipment stocking protocols. Exhibit strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Certified Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification. Preferred BLS (Basic Life Support) and DAANCE (Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Exam) certification. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. A compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients. Ability to effectively multitask and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
