Surgical Assistant needed for Maternity Leave

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Assistant to join our dental team on a temporary, full time basis to cover maternity leave for approximately 5 months. The office is open 30 hours per week Monday thru Thursday. This vital role involves supporting surgical procedures chairside. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a leading dental office, as well as training in surgical skills and protocols. New dental assistant grad applications are accepted. Pay starts at $25/hr (depending on experience) plus a generous completion bonus if you stay for the duration.

Duties include but limited to:

Assist Dr. Pizzini during surgical procedures, set up & tear down rooms, post-op care, hygiene instructions, sterilization. Support preoperative and postoperative patient care, including vital signs monitoring. Apply infection control protocols diligently to prevent cross-contamination and promote a safe surgical environment.
