1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with robotic, spinal fusion, and total joint experience for a travel OR position in Anchorage, AK. Details Hospital OR setting with 11 operating rooms located on the 2nd floor of the main building Night shift hours from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week Night shift is staffed with one charge RN and one scrub tech in-house, supported by a call team Patient ratio is 1:1 On-call is required, averaging 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift per 8-week sign-up period Typical procedures include total joints, multi-level spinal fusions, and a variety of Da Vinci Xi robotic cases (GYN, colorectal, general) EMR is Epic 13-week contract Requirements Minimum of 2 years of CST experience, with recent experience within the last 6 months NBSTSA certification required BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of start) Experience with Da Vinci Xi robotic surgery required Experience with spinal fusion (orthopedic or neuro) required Experience with orthopedic surgery, including total joint arthroplasty, required State license required if applicable SSN and DOB required for consideration One professional reference required Additional Information Scrubs are provided by the facility Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but recent experience within the last 6 months in the specialty is required No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with team members is important for this role
