1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with neuro OR experience for a day shift travel contract at a hospital in Birmingham, AL. Details Main OR setting within a 595-bed comprehensive hospital in Birmingham, AL Neuro surgical specialty with intraoperative patient population 1:1 patient ratio in a 23-bed surgical unit Day shift schedule, 3x12s (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM) On-call required on a 6-week rotation Weekend hours include on-call coverage Charting performed in Cerner EMR 13-week contract Requirements Minimum of 2 years of recent neuro OR experience required BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required — American Red Cross is not accepted License required if applicable Additional Information Scrub color requirement: ceil blue or royal blue The following attire is not permitted: fleece, hooded garments, t-shirts, and sweatshirts Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered SSN and date of birth will be required for consideration AHA BLS certification copy must be included and cannot be expired or expiring within 30 days of the start date
