Key Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Surgical Technologist or Operating Room Technician required Accepting candidates who are both certified and non-certified Surgical Techs Comprehensive understanding of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation Strong communication skills and ability to function as part of a multidisciplinary team Flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly changing clinical environment Current BLS certification preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms for upcoming procedures, ensuring all required instruments and supplies are ready and sterile Assist surgical staff by passing instruments and anticipating surgeons' needs during complex cases Handle specimens properly and maintain accurate documentation according to best practices Practice exceptional infection control and equipment safety protocols at all times Help with room turnover and surgical suite preparation for subsequent cases Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and anesthesia team to provide seamless patient care Why Consider This Role?
