Qualifications and Experience:

Active or eligible state licensure in nursing or recognized surgical technologist certification (CST) preferred Candidates with substantial experience as a non-certified surgical tech will also be considered BLS certification required Proven abilities in aseptic technique and infection control Excellent collaboration and communication skills Strong attention to detail in fast-paced surgical settings

Schedule:

Flexible contract hours, dependent on surgical schedules and department needs

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms and equipment for procedures Assist surgeons and nurses throughout operations Ensure all instruments and materials remain sterile and accounted for Adhere to pre-, intra-, and post-operative protocols Collaborate with anesthesia and sterile processing teams Maintain accurate documentation and patient safety protocols Support the surgical staff and provide optimal patient care at every stage
