This role supports surgical procedures by collaborating closely with surgeons and clinical teams to maintain a safe, sterile, and effective operating room.

Desired qualifications and experience:

Certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred; non-certified candidates with strong clinical experience considered Background in operating room nursing, particularly ORT skills Ability to anticipate surgeon and procedural needs Knowledge of sterile technique and infection prevention protocols Capacity to work as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team Adaptability in a fast-paced surgical setting Key responsibilities: Assist surgical teams before, during, and after procedures Prepare operating room instruments, supplies, and equipment Position and prepare patients for surgical interventions Maintain strict adherence to aseptic and sterile technique Safeguard patient safety by participating in time-outs and identifying potential issues Document procedures and supply usage accurately Support post-operative care transitions as needed This is a contract-based role, offering a unique environment to develop your clinical skills within a diverse surgical team.
