Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic surgical team. In this vital role, you will assist during surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring a sterile environment to promote optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise will support surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient care across a variety of surgical settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in surgical services and patient safety. Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing instruments, arranging supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly for scheduled surgeries. Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, sutures, and other sterile supplies with precision and efficiency. Maintain strict aseptic technique throughout all phases of surgery to prevent infection and ensure patient safety. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure proper patient positioning, anesthesia administration support, and adherence to safety protocols. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, infection control practices, and sterile techniques essential for high-quality surgical care. Requirements Certification as a Surgical Technologist from an accredited program; current certification required. Graduation from an Associate Degree program. Proven OR experience in hospital or ambulatory surgery center settings. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.
