• Required:

• 2 years of experience in an ambulatory setting
• BLS (AHA or ARC only), Tech Diploma, CST Preferred
• Experience with Ortho/Endo/Urology
• Vocational/Tech Diploma
• Flu vaccinated (no exemption/no declinations)

HSD/GED Expectations:

Can demonstrate aseptic technique. Will be responsible to set up and maintaining a sterile field. Will be responsible for weekly OR stocking and cleaning, etc. Will be responsible for cleaning assigned surgical trays. Take care of specimens, prepare, check, and monitor medications, and assist with dressings. Able to adapt to a changing work environment, e.g., helping other team members when needed, possibly doing tasks that fall outside the role of a First Scrub. Turning over your own room with your nurse between cases is a requirement and must be done promptly. Thoroughly clean surfaces within the operating room between cases and at the end of each day. Organize and restock the operating room at the end of each day. Follow relevant safety and sanitation guidelines.
