Surgical Technologist North Bay Ambulatory Surgery Center Daly City, CA Job Details Per diem $45 - $55 an hour 19 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork BLS Certification Outpatient Attention to detail Certified Surgical Technologist Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center in Daly City. This position is responsible for maintaining a sterile environment, preparing surgical instruments and supplies, and ensuring patient safety throughout the surgical process. Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and infection control standards. Follow all safety, regulatory, and facility policies and procedures. The Surgical Technologist assists surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers before, during, and after surgical procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a collaborative setting. Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures Sterilize and organize surgical instruments and supplies Maintain sterile field throughout procedures Assist with patient positioning and room turnover Perform instrument counts with circulating nurse Ensure equipment is functioning properly before procedures Support infection prevention and safety protocols Assist with stocking and inventory management Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff to ensure efficient workflow Qualifications Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program preferred Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred (CST) BLS certification required ASC or outpatient surgery experience preferred Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Experience in specialties such as ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, GI, or general surgery is a plus
Pay:
$45.00 - $55.00 per hour
