Hours/Week Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Surgical Technologist (OR Tech) for an exciting Travel opportunity in California. Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for use Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile technique Anticipate surgical team needs to ensure efficiency and patient safety Adhere to infection control and aseptic practices at all times Handle, label, and track surgical instruments and supplies accurately Assist with patient positioning and surgical preparation Participate in room turnover and preparation for subsequent procedures Support emergency and scheduled surgical cases as needed Maintain accurate documentation related to surgical procedures and equipment usage Participate in on-call coverage and respond during off-hours as required Float within surgical services as needed Requirements Minimum 3 years of Surgical Technologist experience required (5 years preferred) Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program required Strong knowledge of sterile technique and operating room protocols Experience in an acute care hospital operating room setting Ability to work on-call, weekends, and flexible schedules as needed Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills Ability to adapt to multiple surgical specialties and rotating assignments Preferred Qualifications CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) Certification preferred California Surgical Technologist License preferred (pending license accepted) For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
